1. Who we are
Vivid Telecom Limited owns and operates Inventro. For account administration and our own business operations, Vivid Telecom Limited acts as data controller. Where a customer enters personal data about its staff, suppliers, customers or other contacts, the customer will usually be the controller and Vivid Telecom Limited will act as processor.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account and contact details, organisation details, login and security records, IP addresses, device and browser information, support communications, billing records, payment-provider references, consent records, licence information, usage events and information entered or uploaded by users.
3. Why we use information
We use personal information to create and administer accounts; provide, secure and support Inventro; process subscriptions; verify identity; send essential service messages; prevent fraud and abuse; meet legal and accounting duties; improve performance; and pursue legitimate business interests that do not override individual rights.
4. Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, consent, or another lawful basis available under UK data-protection law.
5. Payments
Card and bank details are normally collected directly by Stripe, PayPal or GoCardless. Inventro stores provider references, status, amount and reconciliation information rather than full payment-card credentials.
6. Sharing and subprocessors
Information may be shared with hosting, infrastructure, email, SMS, payment, monitoring, professional-adviser and support providers where necessary. We require appropriate contractual and security protections. We may also disclose information where required by law or in connection with a business transfer.
7. International transfers
Where information is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we use an applicable adequacy regulation, recognised contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
8. Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures including access controls, password hashing, encrypted transport, session protection, logging, backups and vulnerability management. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Retention
Information is retained only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, contract, dispute, security, tax or legal requirement. Further details appear in the Data Retention Policy.
10. Individual rights
Individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent and complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Rights may be limited by legal exemptions or where the customer, rather than Vivid Telecom Limited, controls the relevant data.
11. Automated decisions
Inventro may use automated checks to detect duplicate trials, suspicious activity, licence status or payment state. These checks are used to protect the Service and do not normally produce legal or similarly significant decisions without human review.
12. Contact and complaints
Use the contact or support details shown within Inventro for privacy requests. Please identify the account and information concerned. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Inventro is owned and operated by Example Company Ltd.
